This is another Canary Island which I visited. I must admit that at the beginning I was little dissapointed - southern part of the island is actually not very pretty: ugly holiday resorts, dry, stone-covered hills and scattered pine forests. But if you go more to the north or to the heart of the island, then it's different story: vertical rock walls, narrow roads (where even two small cars barely fits next to each other) and dominant, famous Roque Nublo rock that can be seen almost from every other mountain. Additionally, almost every view to the west was enclosed with Tenerife and Teide.
The more I was there, the more trails I went through, the more I liked this island. Finally, going back home was very similar to going back from Tenerife - very, very diificult. During landing at my final destination, when I saw rain outside, I have already started to miss canarian weather...
